I am a doctorally prepared pediatric nurse practitioner with over 14 years experience in healthcare. Originally from Compton, California, I earned my undergraduate degree from THEE illustrious Howard University and recently obtained my doctorate from UCLA in 2017.
I have done extensive work in my career assisting individuals in every phase of the job search. I have been doing career coaching for years and have also done work assisting new hires with career transition. Additionally, I have been teaching online and face-to-face in multiple settings from universities, hospitals and online.
I grew up in foster care and I now mentor and advocate for foster youth in my spare time. I have a 3-year-old daughter who is the joy of my life!
